“The Gathering – Music from the realm of dreams" has been received in and inspired by dreams.

The track "The gathering" is chronologically the first in this compilation. It is not the first melody that I have dreamt of, but it is the first that I actually remembered clearly after waking up, sometime between the end of 2010 and the beginning of 2011.

The track "Life" has been received in two different dreams, almost 4 years apart from each other. The timeless dimension of dreams is fascinating in that allows the dreamer to visit the same places and times with a stunning continuity. When I woke up one morning in July 2015 with this intense melody echoing in my mind I ran to grab my guitar to find the notes and make a rough recording. This melody has become the second, instrumental part of "Life".
Running to grab my guitar is exactly what I had done in the middle of the night, sometime in 4 years earlier when I woke up, my body electrified by this song I heard in my dream.
I have no doubt that the two melodies belong together. They came from the same place, the feeling of both dreams being the same.
Somehow the moment I received the second part was also the impulse to finally decide to start this project. It felt like a circle was closed for me here, in this time-defined dimension.

Hiya Ana is a different case. The melody and words were not received directly in a dream, although a very powerful dream was involved in the process.
I was spending time at my friend and excellent musician Andrea Seki's house. We were rehearsing for a concert to promote his latest album in the production of which I was also involved.
One late night, just before going to bed, Andrea was playing a simple sequence of chords on his harp. I remember noticing it particularly for the soothing quality of his playing.
That night I had a deeply touching dream in which I experienced an opening of my heart chakra. I was overwhelmed by all the sorrow we are causing to ourselves and to the planet and at the same time I was blessed by the greatest compassion I have ever felt.
When we started playing the next morning I was still under the effect of the dream. It was an altered state of consciousness. I asked Andrea to play those simple chords again and I started playing along with my guitar.
The melody and the “lyrics” came immediately... I found myself singing the melody over and over and it was re-affirming the state I was in the dream. With my eyes closed I could see flashes of white light and feel the presence of the Divine Mother in all her power and radiance.
